                        PLAN REVIEW FEE SCHEDULE

  Permits for plan reviews are good for 1 year from approval date

PRE-PLAN SUBMITTAL CONSULTATION

·         $50.00 PER HOUR, WITH A TWO HOUR MINIMUM.

ACCESS PLAN REVIEW- NO INSPECTION REQUIRED

·          $250.00 Development/Access Plan.

FIRE HYDRANT/WATER MAIN PLAN REVIEW-FLOW TEST INSPECTION REQUIRED

NOTE: It is the developer’s responsibility to schedule with the water department for a hydrant flow test on new and existing hydrants. The fire department must be present to see the flow test done. Construction plan approvals will be denied if a flow test is not done. Please see hydrant submittal guidelines for more information.

·         $500.00 Water Plan.

FIRE SPRINKLER SUPPRESSION SYSTEM PLAN REVIEW

 THREE INSPECTIONS REQUIRED

NOTE: The three inspections required for sprinklers/suppression systems: hydrostatic/flush, rough in visual, and a final. If any of the inspection approvals are denied, additional inspections will be provided at a rate of $50.00 per hour, two hour minimum.

·         0-100 devices- $500.00

·         101-200 devices- $600.00

·         201 or more devices- $700.00

·         For each additional floor above the first floor, an additional $100.00

·         For each additional riser after the first riser, and additional $100.00

·         Fire Pump( per pump)- $350.00 will be added to the fire sprinkler review fee.

·         FEES FOR NFPA-13D and NFPA 13R SYSTEMS: Unlimited devices- $325.00

FIRE ALARM/ DETECTION SYSTEM PLAN REVIEW- 2 INSPECTIONS REQUIRED

NOTE: The two inspections for alarm detection systems will be for a rough inspection and final.  If any of the inspection approvals are denied, additional inspections will be provided at a rate of $50.00 per hour, two hour minimum.

·         0-50 devices( smoke detectors ,pull stations, horn and strobe)- 500.00

·         51-100 devices- $550.00

·         101 or more devices- $650.00

KITCHEN HOOD SYSTEMS- ONE FINAL INSPECION REQUIRED

·         $250.00 for the first hood system

·         $100.00 for any additional.

CONSTRUCTION/LIFE SAFETY PLAN REVIEW- ONE FINAL INSPECTION REQUIRED

      CONSTRUCTION REVIEW FEES FOR NEW STRUCTURES.

• All construction plan reviews will receive ONE FREE final inspection.  If the final inspection fails or if more than one inspection is needed, there will be a $50.00 hourly rate charge applied.

• All NEW plan reviews are $500.00 with a restriction of up to 5,000 sqft. After 5,000sqft, each 1,000 sq ft. will be charged and additional $100.00.

Example: 6,000 sq ft plan review- 5,000 sqft. max with additional 1,000sqft.

                 TOTAL= $600.00

      PLAN REVIEW FOR EXISTING STRUCTURE/ REMODELS/ KITCHEN HOODS

• All construction plan reviews will receive ONE FREE final inspection.  If the final inspection fails or more than one inspection is needed, there will be a $50.00 hourly rate charge applied.

• All EXISTING plan reviews are $250.00 with restrictions up to 5,000 sq ft. After 5,000 sqft., an additional $100.00 per 1,000sqft. will apply.

HAZMAT PLAN REVIEW

NOTE: All Hazmat Plan Reviews will be reviewed by a third party.

·         $500.00 will be added onto the construction/ life safety review fee. This will include new construction and existing facility with per process/use modification.

·         Tanks- AST/UST, petroleum and other: $300  (up to 2 tanks), and $100 per additional tank

·         Explosives/Blasting: $300

·         PERMITS (permit-plan review is only good for one year). Inspection to be completed by Security Fire Department.

HIGH PILE STORAGE

·         $500.00 will be added onto the construction/ life safety review fee.

GENERAL INFORMATION

·               Be sure to read all Security Fire Protection District guidelines regarding construction submittals, hydrant submittals.

·              When plans are dropped off, fire department must have a hard copy for their records,    and a copy of the plans must be provided in a PDF format either by email or cd/disc.

·             All PLAN REVIEWS when dropped off must fill out application form in its entirety.

·              ALL PLAN REVIEWS will get ONE FREE DENIAL. Thereafter, each denied  plans will be charged double the original fee till the plans meet approval.

·             If the final inspection fails or if more than one inspection is needed, there will be a $50.00 hourly rate charge applied.

·             If the developer wants an inspection done on off duty time a $50.00 hourly rate will apply.

·            All fees will be paid in full at the final pick up of the approved plans.
