Today, the Security Fire Department is one of the largest departments in El Paso County, serving the ever-growing population of Security and Widefield. The department has an average call volume of 2400 calls a year for service and employs: • 12 full-time personnel • One paid Fire Chief • 50 volunteers
The Security Fire Department's mission is to provide the highest quality professional service to our community. We resolve to do this within a framework of empathy, compassion, and dedication to the citizens we serve, and to each other.
